This policy describes what Enterprise Techie (operated by Blue Ocean Water, Inc.) collects and how it is used.

What we collect

Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you the newsletter. Delivery is handled by beehiiv, our newsletter platform, which also records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked so we can see what readers find useful.

Contact form messages. When you write to us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and use them only to respond. A copy of each message is kept on this site so a reply can still be sent if the email delivery fails.

Comments. If you leave a comment on an article, we store the name, email address, and comment you provide, plus your IP address and browser details, which help us catch spam. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email address is not.

Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions. Turnstile may process technical details about your browser and connection to tell a person from a bot; it does not require you to solve a puzzle.

Cookies. The site itself sets no tracking cookies. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Our service providers (hosting, content delivery, and bot protection) may set technical cookies needed to serve the site securely.

What we don’t do

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers required to run this site and the newsletter (hosting, content delivery, email delivery, bot protection), and only for that purpose. Sponsored content in the newsletter is labeled as such; sponsors do not receive subscriber lists.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any issue, and you can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us through the contact page.
